How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Account → Subscription and hit "Cancel Subscription" (paid members also have a cancel button in the sidebar). It takes effect immediately for billing: no further charges will be made, and your paid features stay on until the period you already paid for runs out. You never need to file a refund request just to stop being charged.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within limits. Your first subscription charge is refundable if you ask within 7 calendar days of the payment, and a renewal charge is refundable within 3 calendar days — in both cases provided you have made fewer than 3 uses of the paid tools since that charge. Submit a request from Account → Subscription → "Request a refund" (or the button on this page); we check it against the policy and reply by email, usually within one business day. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method.

What do the plans cost and how do credits work?

The Free plan gives you 3 credits to try the tools with a 500-word limit per use. AI Pro is $10/month (or $96/year, saving 20%) with 5 credits a day and a 2,000-word limit. AI Ultra is $25/month (or $240/year, saving 20%) with unlimited credits, a 5,000-word limit, Ultra Mode and tone customization. One credit covers one run of a tool.

How accurate is the AI Checker?

Very good, but not infallible — that is true of every AI detector on the market. Scores are statistical estimates: false positives (human text flagged as AI) and false negatives both happen, especially on short or heavily edited passages. Longer samples give steadier results. Treat any score as evidence to weigh, never as standalone proof, and never as the only basis for a decision about a person, like a grade or an integrity finding.

Question 5

The Humanizer output still gets flagged by another detector — why?

Because every detector weighs signals differently, no rewrite can guarantee a specific score everywhere. If a result is not where you want it: run the output back through our AI Checker to see which sentences still trip the detector, try a different tone setting, or use Ultra Mode (on the Ultra plan) — it applies the most aggressive rewriting. Editing a few flagged lines by hand usually closes the gap.

What do Citation Verification and the Hallucination Detector do?

Citation Verification takes your reference list and checks that each source actually exists — AI writing assistants regularly invent plausible-looking citations, and this catches them before a reviewer does. The Hallucination Detector reads a passage and flags factual claims that look unsupported or fabricated, so you know exactly which statements to double-check.

Question 7

Is the text I paste in stored anywhere?

We do not save the text you check into our database. It is processed in memory and passed to our AI infrastructure providers only to generate your result, then discarded; short-lived server logs used for debugging and abuse prevention may briefly contain fragments. What we do keep is account-level metadata such as credit usage counts. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Question 8

How do I delete my account and data?

Accepted Answer

Open Account → Settings → Delete Account, type DELETE to confirm, and everything goes: your profile, usage history, session records and email log, followed by the sign-in identity itself. This is immediate and cannot be undone. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first so no renewal is attempted after the account is gone.

Question 9

I can't sign in — what should I check?

Accepted Answer

Sign-in is through Google, so there is no password to reset on our side. Make sure you are picking the same Google account you signed up with (a different address creates a separate, empty account). If it still fails, try an incognito window or another browser to rule out extensions, then message us and we will dig into it.

Question 10

There's a charge on my statement I don't recognize.

Accepted Answer

First cancel from Account → Subscription so nothing further is billed while we sort it out. Then send us a message with the charge date and amount (a forwarded receipt is ideal). We will trace it in Stripe, explain what it was, and apply the refund policy if it qualifies.
